Well, I finally, after 30 months ditched the old job and I'm feeling better than I have in ages, if not years.

I'm back in the hotel business where I started almost 15 years ago. This time I'm sticking it out because during my travels around the career world, it was the hotel business where I felt the happiest.

Ditching the old job was an excruciating process, my diplomatic skills were really put to the test, not telling my boss what I really thought of her took all of my endurance. Quite possibly the most self absorbed I've ever met. The only reason she got her job as manager is because she just kept pestering people.
